    Amanda Farahany is dedicated to pursuing civil justice for employees and victims of crime, as well providing consultation and support to management employees.  As a partner with Barrett & Farahany, LLP, in midtown Atlanta, her practice focuses on the representation of victims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, rape, and of individuals in all employment areas. 
    
    As lead counsel in the Lore v. Chase Manhattan case, Ms. Farahany achieved the highest verdict in an FMLA case in the nation for her client, the Georgia Regional Sales Manager at Chase.
 
    Amanda Farahany has been recognized as a Rising Star Super Lawyer.  Rising Stars names the top young lawyers in Georgia as chosen by Georgia Super Lawyers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. All Georgia Rising Stars are 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Georgia attorneys are named Rising Stars.
  
    Amanda Farahany has taught law students trial tactics as the coach of the Trial Advocacy Program at John Marshall Law School.  Prior to beginning her practice, she clerked for the Honorable John H. Ruffin, Jr. at the Georgia Court of Appeals.
 
    Amanda Farahany has been awarded status as a Fellow of the National College of Advocacy.  The status of Fellow is an acknowledged designation within the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and signifies commitment to effective representation of her clients and her dedication to achieving a high level of competence. 
 
    Additionally, Amanda Farahany is a Fellow in the Lawyer's Foundation of Georgia.  Membership in the Fellows Program is a honor which recognizes lawyers whose public and private careers demonstrate outstanding legal abilities and a devotion to their communities.  The Fellows Program was created with the vision of being a voluntary group of outstanding legal professionals who administer funds that foster among the members of the Bar the principles of duty and service to the public, improve the administration of justice and advance the science of law. Membership in the Fellows Program is limited to three percent of the membership of the State Bar of Georgia. Fellows are selected from among the membership of the State Bar of Georgia whose public and private careers demonstrate outstanding legal abilities and a devotion to their communities.
 
   
    In addition to her law practice, Amanda Farahany currently serves as Co-Chair of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Inadequate Security Litigation Group, on the Advisory Council to the National Crime Victim Bar Association and is Vice Chair to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Employment Rights Section.
 
    Amanda Farahany has previously served as the President of the Atlanta Council for Younger Lawyers, the President of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Georgia Chapter, on the Executive Committee to the Atlanta Bar Association, on the Boards of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, the Crime Victim Advocacy Council, and the State Bar of Georgia Younger Lawyers Division.  In addition, Ms. Farahany has served on the Boards of several domestic violence and women's rights organizations. 
 
    Amanda Farahany has spoken and been published extensively on litigating cases for civil justice for crime victims, sexual assault and employment cases, including for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the National Crime Victim Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia's Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
